Childrens Journey is an innovative communication application that helps facilitate informed and shared decision-making between pediatric care teams and patients. Our app is designed to enhance communication between pediatric surgical teams and the families of children undergoing medical procedures. It provides personalized resources and direct communication channels to help reduce decisional conflict, decrease medical errors, costs, and decisional regret. Childrens Journey consists of three main components:
The Journey - a step-by-step guide that patients follow to stay informed and connected with their care team throughout their medical journey.
Articles - a personalized library of educational resources and articles to help patients and their caregivers learn about their specific medical conditions, treatment options, and postoperative care.
Chat - a direct communication channel that enables patients and their caregivers to message their care team directly, ask questions, and receive timely responses.
We are constantly striving to improve our app and will be adding AI capabilities in future versions to further enhance the patient experience.
